<p>The Valley Forge Casino Resort is Pennsylvania&#8217;s newest casino resort property, and like almost every other casino in the state, they have chosen to deploy Service Tracking Systems&#8217; CVPS.net to manage their valet parking process.</p>
<p>The system there is made up of a high definition digital camera lane, housed in a TunnelVision canopy to provide for ideal lighting conditions, as well as the iPod/iPhone based mobile app , self-service customer request terminals, and traditional valet dispatch terminals.</p>
<p>The valet business uses CVPS to minimize exposure to liability for damage claims. High definition digital cameras record multiple images of each vehicle as they move through the TunnelVision lane.  Automatic license plate recognition cameras read the license plate and recall stored information about the vehicle and the customer.</p>
<p>Besides reducing exposure to liability, CVPS tracks each step in the valet parking process, and makes that information available to the valet operation via real time system monitors. Supervisors or Managers can track when tickets are issued, who is parking each car, and how long it is taking them to complete their task. Real time monitoring of the parking process not only ensures that employees aren&#8217;t wandering off and taking unauthorized breaks, but also warns when vehicle keys are not accounted for in a timely manner, greatly reducing the likelihood that those keys get lost.</p>
<p>When customers are ready to depart, CVPS tracks the time of the request, when the valet retrieves the keys for each vehicle, and when it is ultimately returned to the customer. Customer wait time is displayed for guests on a large monitor in the waiting area, providing real time updates at each step of the process.</p>

<p> The hotel, a customer of STS since 2003,  recently upgraded its legacy CVPS application to CVPS.net, the latest software  release in the now 16 year old CVPS product line. With a Microsoft .net front  end and a SQL Server back end, CVPS.net utilizes the latest in software  development tools to provide an application that is not only fast, automated,  and highly functional, but is also easy on the eyes.</p>

<p>As a long-time customer, the hotel has  always appreciated the benefits of using STS’s automated valet system for point  of sale and key dispatch functionality. It helps that the CVPS system meets the  City of San Francisco’s Department of Consumer Assurance’s requirements for  Revenue Control Systems.</p>
<p> With the upgrade to CVPS.net, they have  added access controls to the entry and exit lanes in the garage, and an  automated call center that accepts and processes incoming vehicle request calls  from hotel guests. In the lobby, to enhance customer service they’ve deployed  both self-service payment kiosks and a customer wait time display.</p>

<p>Service Tracking Systems continues to  expand its overseas presence with its new deployment at the Sydney Airport in  Australia, its fifth deployment in Australia since 2007.</p>
<p>The culmination of a lengthy development  process, the CVPS system is deployed in conjunction with the Designa Car Park  Management System, and offers a fully integrated solution to the airport  patrons and operational team.</p>
<p>Patrons arriving to the airport can choose  to enter one of several car parks where they are issued tickets from Designa  ticket dispensers. Patrons who choose to valet park then turn over their  vehicle at either the domestic or international terminals.</p>
<p><span id="more-2477"></span></p>
<p>Using the mobile Valet App and iPod hardware,  valet attendants issue a bar coded valet ticket and read the Designa car park  ticket, linking the two together in the CVPS and Designa databases via an  interface. Valet attendants capture the relevant customer details and input  them into the mobile Valet App.</p>
<p>For customers who have pre-booked parking or  services online, those pre-paid details are transferred to CVPS via the  interface to Designa. During the stay, a variety of services can be performed  by the valet operation (car washes, oil changes, etc), all of which are managed  and the fees calculated by CVPS.</p>
<p>When customers are ready to depart, they  settle their parking charges in the CVPS system, which then communicates with  the Designa system to authorize the customer to exit, using their original  Designa dispenser ticket.</p>
<p>Through precise interfaces with Designa’s  Car Park Management System and ADVAM’s EMV compliant credit card processing,  CVPS.net offers Sydney Airport patrons the ultimate in convenience and service.  For the business owners, CVPS.net captures valuable data about the valet  operation and customer details, and makes that data available both through its  automated reporting engine and through an interface to the airport’s Data Mart.</p>
