CountSysPro is a completely scalable open architecture application built on the latest .NET 3.5 platform, utilizing Microsoft’s graphically rich Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) front end and a robust SQL Server Database backend. The Microsoft .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows Platform.

 

 

The MAIN MENU is an intuitive user-friendly touch-screen interface providing quick access to all pertinent functions needed to track and manage your vehicle counts and lane access. The built-in ‘Lane Monitor’ screen shown on the left provides a real-time snap-shot of the vehicle lane counts. Digital images of your actual lane shots can replace the graphical representations shown to give the screen an easy to comprehend familiar look.

All counters are configurable, so each entrance lane can be set to allow a certain number of vehicles into a particular parking area – which can be further specified to meet a day/time criteria. This can be an effective way to manage different user groups like valet parking, hotel guest, monthlies and transients.

 

 

 

The F1-F5 buttons are user definable menu item keys, customizable for each log-in password. Each lane is also configurable to generate an alert based on a certain fixed count or percent occupation, causing a text-message to be sent, the gate to be lowered, all which can be manually overridden via the monitoring screen.

 

 

 

 

The SQL driven database allows reports to be customized and generated in a number of different formats, including crystal, excel and word. Several report templates are provided with the master program to cover the most common vehicle count statistics. Shown below is an example of an Occupancy Report, which breaks each level down by spaces occupied, spaces available, % open/closed and what kind of controls are in place to restrict access.

 

The report generator also includes various graphical interfaces so historical data can be mapped to expose meaningful trends at a glance.

Below is a thumbnail camera view chart, allowing you to browse 100 pictures at a time. This add-on module elevates count system functionality to a whole new level by creating a vehicle picture history to aid with incident investigations and other scenarios that might require for you to know when a particular vehicle arrived and/or left your facility. As you can see, exceptions are easily identified. Moving your cursor over any of the pictures will reveal a larger image, enabling you to decipher vehicle information – including license plate.

In conjunction with our optional CheckPointLPR license plate recognition technology, the system can automatically highlight (see orange and blue frames) any visitor type category you’d like to track, such as employee, security or maintenance vehicles. With an interface to the NCIC, you will also be able to flag stolen vehicles and other undesired visitors. This kind of look-up power will prove invaluable the next time you need positive proof of a vehicle’s arrival and departure date and time.
